First off definetly not a loach. Not related to loaches. Not even similar lol I would find a new LFS... second it appears that it may be a cold water fish...

nope those are kangaroo loaches if any one disagrees i have proof they are kangaroo loaches. but i agree they dont look like loaches at all.

But the one in his pic is resting on the bottom. Doesn't look like a midwater swimmer. Wish the OP's pic was clearer. Can't see the mouth's well.

Certainly looks NOTHING like other Sinibotia.
