What glue can I use?

I just bought a 3 gallon acrylic tank(off Craigslist) for $5.00. And where the light attaches there is two cracks. And I wondering what I can use to seal them so if I fill to the bottom of the light clamp no water will come out of the cracks. Well super glue work? Or can I use E600 just on the outside?

I used acrylic glue I got at my lfs for some busted seals in a tank awhile back. It worked fine so I would suggest that. Especially since it's for aquarium use.
