those long tentacles. - what is the scientific name for them?
They are like antennae, whiskers! hehehe

Does any other fish possess 'feelers'?

I don't know the scientific name for them but a was always told they are called "Barbells" just like on a catfish.

they're the pelvic fins on an angel fish, same as discus, bettas and many other fish. the ones on gourami are the same i think, seeing as they dont have other pelvic fins

They are ventral fins on Angels. Not sure what they're called on Gourami. Dangly bits in our household ;)

they are called ventral/pelvic fins !!!

great job everyone (y)

They are modified ventral fins. Gouramis use them to check things out. They often favor one ( left handed :) Not sure why Kissing Gouramis don't have them, maybe they come from clearer water or don't need them ?
