What is the green stuff on my aquarium rocks?

I have an aquatic turtle tank and have been noticing some



dark green slime on the rocks. What is it? How do I get rid of it and is it harmful to my turtle?

It is algae. You will always have some growing in a tank. The way to minimize it is to ensure you are not over feeding, and minimize the amount of time your light is on.

Is their an aquatic animal I could buy thet would eat the algae?
