What is this?

I've noticed that one leaf started to turn yellow and in this cone and then it started to open up a little and this was inside?! What is it?

The picture is really hard to tell. Anubias do flower though. The stem will usually grow to the surface and then flower in the air. Maybe it tried to flower underwater and rotted?

They look like small brown tomatoes. I didn't know what it was but then it opened up a little and I saw these tiny bead like things inside.

I zoomed in and took a pic to try and help. I'm using my iphone so it looks fine since that's what I took the picture with.

It's a flower.

Certainly looks like a flower to me. I usually clip mine when they do that, but some people keep theirs.

Ugly flower. Do they usually turn all white like that or is it a half dead flower?
