What is this fish???

I cant remember the name of this fish so i cant find a picture. I do know how it looked though. It was freshwater and it was brown with a pattern of some kind on it and it was really long (for a smaller fish) and its tail came to a long point. The head was a bit bigger(wider) than the rest of the body. I think thats best i can describe it/remember it. Last time i had one was a long time ago.

no it wasnt one of those. i know what those are. it was really flat and had a really pointy fin on top. just remembered those things.

Ya sounds like either a pleco a catfish or some form of loach, maybe a hillstream.

OH! yes! it looked like the last picture you posted, allaboutfish! Are there other kinds of those fish? im not too sure what it exactly looked like but that fish rings a bell. is that a loach?
