A sub dominate male will lose some of its color.

What color is the female? Johannis are yellow then color up to blue when they start maturing and the females stay yellow. I have a few.

I don't have any females yet but I got my males from a friend who breeds them ill see if I can find a pic for you of a female johanni. Here's a pic of my dominant male EBJ
