I got this fish as a gift, some days ago and I am not sure how to take cure of this can anyone help me, what kind of fish is this? Is it ok to keep with beta?

I find keeping Bettas and goldfish together always ends In fin rot for the betta, from nibbled fins and extra ammonia in the water (goldfish are messy!)

I have done this before. But my goldfish was blind. I would not recommend putting one that can see in there. Betta's can't swim that fast.

Bettas need water in the high 70s - 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Fancy goldfish do best in water from mid 60s to low 70s. Different food requirements and the goldfishes waste output also make it difficult. It's not recommended to keep most tropicals and goldfish together go this reason.
