What the point in Black Kuhli Loaches and Upside down catfish

I have 6 loaches and 2 catfish. And I never see them at all. When I got them the people never said anything about them never coming out. The only way I see the cat fish is if I have all the lights out and I come around with a flashlight.

Eh, I have 4 kuhli loaches, and my tank (10gal) is pretty well planted. Every now and then ill see then squigling though the blyxia, or poking from under driftwood, but really that's about it. There perfect for my betta planted 10 gal though

You really need 8 + to see them I have them in a 36 and there about 8 and they come out mostly when I do feeding and PWC. Catfish allays hide I haver 3 inna 46 inputting I see is the tail of my Raphael. The 2 bumblebee I never see.
