What to do with Random .5 gallon cube

I used to have a betta and then 1 minnow but now unused because I have a 10g for a betta (kinda overkill but my other fish died so I just put a betta in) and a 25g.

What to do, what to do........

Not much you can do with a .5 other than shrimp or snails.
Though you could do a planted bowl, with 3-4 shrimp and a couple of snails that'd be pretty cool

You can put shrimp in a half gallon?? Do they need a filter or just plants? I have a nice little plastic cube just sitting there with nothing in it. I already refer to it as the "shrimp cube" because it's what I used to acclimate my ghost shrimp.
