What type of eel i have? Petsmart sold under wrong name

Hey everyone my girlfriend bought a eel from petsmart and they said it's supposed to be a peacock eel but it's Brown with strips. Anyone can help me out? I recently bought another peacock eel from petsmart but it stays hidden because the brown eel is aggressive towards it so I have to out the peacock eel in my dad's tank (

I hate petsmart now.. I wanted a pair of peacock eels because I heard they are the only ones you can keep together is this true? Think petsmart with trade him for a real peacock eel?
