what's this fish?

identify this fish.

also i bought a silver dollar and it is lying at the bottom in a corner. is that normal. its been only 2 hours.

that silver dollar isn't normal -
did u acclimatise it properly ??
check your readings
 
i put the silver dollar in a bowl floating in the aquarium the time it gets better.



also i put in an airstone.
 
woops thinking of the wrong fish. i know ive seen thought somewher though...
 
Looks not dissimilar to an 'apollo shark', Luciosoma setigerum (I have seen them without the black striping before), or a sharpbelly, Hemiculter leucisculus, or similar (although I tend toward the apollo, as they are common in the hobby, and have been 'in season' and in shops for a few weeks now)....because of the group of fishes this one is undoubtedly related to, I would watch it closely, as it likely gets to 8"-10" and will likely be fairly aggressive.
 
the aquarium girl told me that it was called "immortel'. thats immortal in french.

have any of u heard of that?
 
I hope this poor sucker isn't in the 15 gallon with the goldfish 8O Amitnarain have you gotten new tanks or changed stuff around?
