Whats your odd obsession?

yeah but gravel is WAY to big, and i have no good stuff in there, no co2 injection or anything, but i guess the aqua clear is a good start

My obsession would proably be angel fish i could just sit and watch them for ever. I think they are so cute! I also hate when other people feed my fish because of fear of over feeding. I have a very tight scedule for feeding and i rarly mess it up. Another would be makeing sure i know every thing about the fish before bying it. I will never go into a fish store and just bye the fish i think are pretty. I make sure it will be just the right addition to the tank . I have to learn every thing about it like: how big the fish will grow, what food would be best for it, how many i can get for my tank, will the fish i have play nice with this fish, does it need any extra special treatment, will breeding make it a problem, what lighting does it need, what temp does it need.
As you can see i am a planner. I also never trust any information my LPS people give me. I only get my information from trusted sorces like this web site.

These are some pretty good habits to get into. Research is key when owning a fish tank and so is not overfeeding lol. Ive never kept angelfish but they do seem really cool.

I guess my obsession is doing weekly pwcs. If I ever accidently skip a week I feel like I'm not properly caring for them. I usually do them every weekend on all my tanks including the ones tht don't have fish lol unless something really important comes up, and if tht happens I'll usually do them on a weeknight if I don't have much hw.

Its so funny because when I first owned a fist tank I would do a PWC maybe MAYBE once every month or so, now I am trying todo it once every week (40-50%)
