Red tail shark or rainbow shark

I personally like the redtail much butter then the rainbow. To me the rainbows have more of a brown body with a faded red color tail. The redtails have more of a black body with an orange tail.

I agree with homer the redtails are more of a jet black color, which i think looks better. Also, make sure it is compatible with your other fish and you meet its requirements.

I love my rainbow shark. He had so much personality. The red-orange of his fins are what attracts me to him the most. He loves hiding in this castle in my tank. Soon he will be to big to fit anymore!

Note that red tail sharks can become very aggressive.

Rainbow sharks are better because they tolerate others of their own kind if there are enough hiding areas.
