Which tank would you do?

So I have a couple extra 10 gallon tanks sitting around and I was thinking that they would be perfect to tear apart and do a custom tank for either my betta or a nano salty tank.

The two dimensions I was thinking of are:

10" cube at 4.3 gallons

I could do this tank by only tearing down a single 10g tank.

OR

12" x 12" x 20" high column tank at 12.5 gallons.
12" cube at 7.5 gallons

Either of these would require that I tear apart 2 10 gallon tanks.

I think you've got the experience to go for the tear down and create the 12"x12"x20". Then go salty nano !!!

I've already got a 90 salty mixed reef so it wouldn't be a spectacular change either way

Lol okay then. How about going instead of a salt nano, a heavily planted FW with either blue tiger or black King Kong shrimp ?
