White ribbon plant

I researched recently that this is not an aquatic plant. However, I've had in my aquarium for over 10 months and now the root system is amazing. The plant shows and has showed absolutely no signs of rot and my water quality readings could not have been better. My fish seem to love swimming through it, and it's gotten big to my liking.

Do you think I should still remove it from my tank? My tank is crystal clear and its leaves are growing great.

I won't put another one in the future, and the first sign of rot I will take it out.

Is this really a problem though?

Don't fix something that's not broken.

My water wisteria is thriving growing in its emersed form.

White ribbon is a kind of dracenea, which isn't an aquatic plant but it can do fine in an aquarium as long as it's got leaves that breach the surface of the water. I've got 20 or so stalks of lucky bamboo in my tank and they're all healthy as could be because the leaves are emerged from the water
