White streaks on inside of glass?

Ok so I got my aquarium a while ago an I just added sand a fee days ago. I rinsed it and followed the directions. It said wait 24 hours for crystal clear water. I water 72 hours, and you couldn't see anything in there I did a 100 percent water change. Don't worry the tank is not cycled or has any living things. Now my water is crystal clear but there's white streaks everywhere on the inside of the tank. I've tried taking it of with the rim of my fish net but it only took part of it off. I think when I put the sand In the water some of the sand dissolved making the water white and some of the sand decided to stick to my glass! So how do I clean this? It looks horrible and it's not forming on the walls anymore but how do I get it off? A sponge maybe? But I can't seem to find a sponge that doesn't have soap built into it! And if the sponge doesn't work what else should I try?

Try using a razor blade. That might help.

If you do it gently at like a 45 degree angle, it shouldn't

Ok I just used a paper towel and it worked fine I'm going to do a 100 percent water change and rearrange everything and add some new decor and then once my test kit arrives start the fishless cycle!

No need to wait for the test kit if you have ammonia. You could just approximate and get started before it arrives, if you're impatient like me.

Well I have the patience I want to do it right so I don't have to keep doing it I got the ammonia today and the test kit doesn't come until not this weekend, but the next one! I'm going to wait until that gets here this is my first time and want to do it right lol! My brother got a new 1.77 gallon tank with a Hagen elite mini sponge filter and gravel and articficial plants. Unfortunetly he didn't have the patience to cycle and he got 2 rosy red minnows for 13 cents a piece. They were doing fine when they were at petco and In the bag but after drip acclimating them they swam happily playing tag n stuff the the next morning one of the minnows was sitting on top of the filter gasping for air and the other was trying to commit suicide litterally he choked him self to death in a plants on purpose we saw Jim swim into it so we took him out and he kept swimming back in! So how do I cycle a 1.77 gallon tank? Do I only put a few drops? Also petco will test free so when should I take it my mom says she's not going to go there every day just to test water. Well go there once a week so should I go there as soon as I start the cycle or like a week after or what?

well for my 29 gallon, the first time I cycled it, I got lazy, and just put a few "glugs" in, and it worked out pretty well. for the 1.77 gallon, I'm guessing a few drops would be good.
