white stuff in tank
something's wrong with my aquarium and my cichilids. there's this white spiderweb stuff in the water. could it be from setting up my aquarium too quickly (getting fish and all before i waited for the water to settle a few days/weeks).

I can't make out anything in that picture. Can you describe them a bit more?

What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and temp)?
