My male lyretail dalmatian molly lost one end of his lyretail sometime last year and someone had told me that it probably wouldn't grow back because it was more just a protrusion than anything really needed....well it grew back and it only took almost a year to do it lol It's kinda crooked but oh well... I still find it kinda odd that it just randomly decided to grow back...

alot of reptiles can grow there tails back, my gecko lost its tail years ago nad grew back about half the size, its pretty ammazing that animals can lose a body part and grow them back

It's not that it really lost the tail, it's just how the lyretail comes out to make like that "U" shape and one of the ends of the U broke off ^^; I was kinda suprised...even more so that it's growing back LONGER than it was o.o
