Why are two of my lemon tetras..

Chasing a third one like crazy! Like they keep chasing it all around the tank! I've never seen this before. They are in a school of 6.

Yes I think that is it. The two are much bigger then the one being chased... What does this mean?? Are they trying to spawn with her or what?
 
That's not unreasonable behavior for lemon tetras. They are fairly boisterous as far as tetras go, and can get pretty nippy amongst themselves (although I never saw any fin damage in them or other fish).


A larger school size would be better to spread out aggression.
 
No the males are larger in this case. I just read about it online. It's a sign of courting. And the males do it to hopefully find a female mate.
