Why I love nerite snails in a freshwater tank...

Just felt like sharing why I love nerite snails in my 20 gallon. My swords and other plants were getting covered in diatoms and I liked the fact that they wouldn't reproduce in freshwater aquariums. I got 2 and I woke up to this...

I was like sweet! they are doing exactly what I bought them for. LOL

This is when I got home from work he was polishing it off lol


So I noticed another leaf that needed cleaning and I put him on it and looked back in 10 minutes and this is what I saw.

I really recommend these snails, especially since they wont take over!

Is that last one blue & back?

& mine devours diatoms and algae too! On anything lol. My Assassin does too! I didn't think it would

Nice! I love my nerites. I had a rock full of algae, in a day they cleared that one and the other ones! They won't touch my plants though.

I can't tell if it's blue or white lol. That's weird they wont go on your plants mine go on everything in the tank and eat its awesome! Do assassins reproduce in freshwater?
