Why is my male molly nipping at my female molly

Why is this?? Should I be concerned

Are those the only mollies you have in the tank? Any other fish in there? What size tank is it?

If you only have the 1 male and 1 female that could be the issue, he could be trying to mate with her, he'll drive her nuts though and stress her out. If you have room you could try adding a couple of more females, maybe. But let someone else with more knowledge answer.

I do not have room I know it's him cuz I saw him do it and she follows him sometimes but I will try to get one lets hope for the best that they will mate!!!!

No way should you have 2 mollys in 10, they have large bioloads.

I think they need much more room than ten gallons...

I thought we already recommended you an F8 is not good for a 10gal with mollies. Why didn't you just get a 20 gal? All three of your fishes would be happy in a 20, and less likely there would be any nipping involved. Could you at least make the tank slightly brackish water? 1.003-1.008 is fine.
