Wild Plants?

When you get parasites in your tank from putting wild plants in it, it's going to cost you a lot more money in meds to fix the problem than it would if you just dipped them in bleach or peroxide. Maybe the meds won't even work in time and you lose your fish. Is it really worth not spending a few dollars to buy peroxide or bleach? The people who have responded to this thread are extremely knowledgeable and if they didn't know for fact that you should indeed do a dip they wouldn't have recommended one.

Make a dip of I think 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 4 parts water in a small container. Dip the plants for 10 minutes or so and then put them in.

Edit: or of an even higher concentration. You could go up to 1:1 if you wanted but that might damage plants.

You think 4 cups of water, and one cup of peroxide is fine?
