Will neon tetras school with celestial pearl danios?

Will little neon tetras school will celestial pearl danio's? because mine are in my 20 gallon community tank. I was wondering if this was normal, they are both the same size.

And you're probably aware already.....but just in case.....Celestial Pearl Danio's used to be called Galaxy Rasbora's.

No, they won't. Being community fish, they might hang out peacefully together, but they won't shoal or school in a species-like manner. You'll need 6 of each if possible.

I have 5 of each and they seem to be schooling together
In the picture the other neons and celestials were down below out of sight

They may shoal together from time to time but no they won't school together.

If you're seeing them enjoying each others' company, that's a great sign.
