It sounds like you already know what they are but I will say, based on the older methods of sexing Angels, that the second fish should be the female and the top pic the male. Had they not exposed their tubes however, I would also say that unfortunately, today's Angels sometimes show characteristics of the opposite gender so until you see the tubes, there are no guarantees.
Also, new pairs don't always produce good spawns for a few times. So for now, I wouldn't be eager to save this spawn as spawns usually on filter tubes don't get fertilized as well as ones laid in a tank with a sponge or inside filter. So if the goal is to eventually start saving the spawns, I'd strongly suggest keeping the fish in a tank by themselves and changing the HOB filter into an air driven sponge filter.
That will increase your success percentage greatly.
Just an FYI: I also had a new pair of Angels form the other day. It was the female's 2nd spawn and the male's first. I only got 6 eggs to live and only 3 of those hatched. So as I said, first spawns don't always yield success so don't get bummed if this one doesn't work out. Angels, when kept properly, give you plenty of chances to figure it all out.
And eggs were laid. Both being attentive and there doesn't seem to be any aggression (which was my biggest worry). I'll see how this goes. I'm sure they'll end up as some added protein in the fish's diet.
