IMO if you can't provide them with a school because it's a too small or poorly stocked tank you shouldn't have them

I wanted the shrimp to breed so some not all will survive and not get eaten but provide natural food for my fish?

Another question would the rams work out I've posted on other forums and theirs been tons of things about them being stressed by danios ect.

I kept rams with purple passion danios w/o any problems. In a large enough tank I don't think it's an issue. If they shared the same area of the tank, I would say avoid it, but the danios will be up higher in the tank almost all the time so I wouldn't expect any issues.

I missed the shrimp on the list before. They may be able to survive long enough to reproduce if the tank is heavily planted, but often rams will hunt and peck them to death quickly. I wouldn't invest much into the shrimp.
