Okay, so two good things happened today.

1. My gold nugget pleco actually spent over 30 seconds outside of his hiding spot! Woohoo!

2. My newest Angel who I added about a month ago has finally seemed to settle in. He/she took a while to really open up its fins and today I finally saw the little one fully spreading his fins.

oh, and a third

3. no return of the mystery disease that took out 3 fish in a little under two days. :D

I added a pleco 3 days ago, and he's finally been out in the tank tonight. I read about how plecos often hide for a while when added to tanks, and for the first couple days he was on the back of the tank behind a plant, moved maybe an inch in any direction. I put in an algae disc at night just for kicks, and in the morning the snails were on the dissolved mess it left on the substrate. I had turned the lights off because I was about to go to vday dinner (173.12 8O ) and within a couple minutes he was on the front of the tank. I said, hey, I bet you're hungry, so I dropped an algae disc in and it was gone when I got back, and he's on the front glass right now. Wow that was a long, boring story. Too much bubbly (sp?) tonight.
