Yellow Wag (Wagtail) Platies?

Does anyone have Yellow Wag Platies? Anyone selling them? Anyone know where to get them? I am in Washington state...

Do they go by another name (ie Hi-Fin)? Or, is this similiar to what you're describing?

No, they aren't hifins. They are identical to the standard red or orange wags... except they are a bright yellow (NOT gold). The same shade of yellow that is seen in the Yellow Twinbars. I have seen them online once or twice (not for sale), I have seen them in the book "Keeping and Breeding Platies in Captivity" and I saw them once in a pet store. Unfortunately when I saw them in the petstore they had about 20 dead and dying fish in that tank so I didn't dare get any of them. Now I wish I had. I could have kept them in the hospital tank until they were okay to put in the community.

Ok, I've seen this one recently but can't remember where. The LFS you saw them at, was this a M&P (mom and pop) or a chain?

M&P I think. I think it was Denny's Petworld in Kirkland, WA. I saw them about 3 or 4 months ago and assumed there would be more (healthier ones) later, but there hasn't been.

Well, maybe they can put in an order for you. My lfs takes orders for fish all the time.
