can you be more specific? if you're looking for something that moves gravels around a little bit, then i would recommend malaysian trumpet snails. they're free in most pet stores. nerites are usually reserved for algae issue

Well, lost one of my zebras in the gravel today while I moved the Dw spent 5-10 mins looking for him and couldn't find him. Think he is buried deep.

Nerites are escape artist. They have been known to crawl out of tanks.

oh i see what you're going after. here's the fact: if the snail digs himself a hole and semi-buries himself, he will be able to get out. however, if you move things aroound and cause extra added weight, then chances are the snail will not free himself. i wouldn't mess with the decors in the fish tank for a few more days until the snail shows up by itself, assuming it's not dead
