Those things are awesome. I remember seeing them washed up on the shore of the beach sometimes. I heard they were in dangered animals but I guess not. Don't they sting though?

Captive Raised doesn't mean they were Bred, not to mention their numbers are considered to be heavily dwindling in the wild. In the wild they will reach just under 2ft and about 10lbs. Supposedly the lifespan is 15-20yrs.

I always thought horseshoe crabs were really cool. I got to pet one once when I was really little. They have a few of them at Underwater World in their little "petting zoo" pool thing.
