I have a baby betta in a 5.5 that could probably use a little color.. think the Betta will chill on the munching if he grows up with them??

I have some RCS with a betta and he dosent bother the adults, but I have noticed that the babies will occasionally be eaten, so they reproduce slower, but some still make it to adulthood
EDIT the baby betta wouldn't even touch the baby shrimp, because the shrimp would be to big...
