I had a pretty good pod population in a shallow sand bed, but foolishly i added a horseshoecrab because he looked so kool. He made quick work of most of my sand inhabitants. He is gone now, and i have added 3" of southdown to my tank, but i need more life in the sand bed. Is there anybody out there in the NY, NJ, CT area that would be willing to part with a cup or two of sand from their established system?

Never mind. I broke down last night and bought 5lbs of LS for 20.00 at the LFS. Violated again! 8O I don't like the grain size of it either. A lot of it is 1/16", Grrrrr. But i was desperate. :x
