CAN I PUT RCS IN A 1/2 Gallon tank

Hey all, just wondering if I could put a few RCS in 1/2 gallon tank and breed them. Thanks!
 
Yes, but VERY few. That is not a good size for breeding. You could only have about 5 RCS or so in a .5 gallon. 5+ gallons is much better for breeding. I have my supreme red RCS in a 10 gallon.
 
Thanks bud, I was thinking about putting 2males in 3females in but wanted to double check...Who knows maybe Ill get lucky!:brows:
 
its not about luck its about the bioload. You'll have very low shrimplet surival rates in such a small tank.
