Aquarium Advice Freak
I have lots of pond snails in my 55 g tank. I am considering buying a few clown loaches for the clean up. I know they will out grow my 55 eventually but I would transfer them to my Mothers 200g community tank eventually. But I have 2 questions
I have apple snails who are pretty big and I'm curious if they would eat a snail that big!
2. I know it's not good to buy one fish to take care of another problem but is there any other way to get rid of the snails besides dosing the tank, cut down on feedings (which I've done) or do the bait and switch technique? I buy lots of live plants and I see this becoming a problem. But I am going to start cleaning my plants before adding them.
