I have Bebes!

I finally have some baby Red Cherry Shrimp!!!!! SO excited I bought them from a local hobbiest who was thinning her population. I was pretty sure the only female I saw berried had dropped her eggs (she did drop a lot for sure) but apparently a couple survived!!!! I've seen 2 so far in the java moss. They look like this (not my pic, but they look just like this!)

I am especially excited because I did not know if my little unheated 1.5 gallon was suitable for breeding, but I found out that it stays about 82 just from the light bulb during the day, so yippie!

Congrats! I've just added some rcs too my tank hopefully one day I'll have little shrimps too

Be careful that they don't overpopulate that tiny tank. If stressed they can crash quickly.

Yep, so far I've got 4 females 2 males and 2 bebes. Once my population gets bigger I plan on taking the more demure colored ones out to try and survive in my 29 gallon. Until then though it's just the 1 gallon.
