Identification of creepy "insects"

Hi All,
I just noticed at least 2 of these 6 legged critters in my little aquarium. I have live plants, shrimp and nano fish and have scoured the internet trying to identify these.

Any clues of what they are and if they are damaging or what I should do with them?

Maybe the larvae of some local insect? Looks a bit like a dragonfly larvae. What do you think?

I would remove them as you find them. They are carnivorous and will eat anything they get hold of. Dragonflys lay 100s of eggs at a time as well, so there could be more.

I was wrong when i called it a larvae. I now understand the correct term is a nymph.
