Identifying this snail?

Can anyone help me identify this snail? It tagged along in my last fish purchase and I was just curious about it so if anyone could help that would be great.

It's a mts. Some people like them and some don't. If you have a lot of uneaten food in your tank, they will start to breed and possibly become a problem. It's your decision on leaving it or taking it out. Personally I would leave it. (Some would disagree)

I just went and got some of these from petco for my little extra plant tank that has algae I think they look cool but they can become a pest
