inverts for a sa cichlid tank

Are there any inverts that would work in my 75 south American tank I figure they would eat any snails or shrimp maybe a crayfish or small lobster?

Just saying " South American tank " doesn't tell us what's in the tank. We need a detailed stock, water parameters ect in order to give suggestions.

Agree I can say carb or crayfish for a dwarf speices. Well to my surprise, its a green terror and a dead carb or crayfish.

That's pretty much a no for inverts in that tank. The inverts will either be snacks or they could harm the juvie fish in the case of crayfish.

That's what I was thinking I may wait for them to get older and try to introduce a blue cray fish they have them at LFS that are like 4" for 25$

Chances are your fish will kill it or the cray will attack the fish while they "sleep".
