This the snails reproductive parts? This was middle of night and I was pawing by tank so I hit the lights on just to see who was up to what and found this.

Nope, but that is a funny guess I'm pretty sure it's the syphon. Snails have 3 parts to their respiration... a gill.. a lung... and a syphon (snorkel). They use it to get air, if I remember correctly.

Yes, when I had one he would go to the surface and stick that out and wait a second and go back down and found out he was breathing.

Lol.hahahaha.he's just breathing.btw I love Inca snails!or gold mystery snails as sold in pet stores.lol. mine used to dig in my sand.they're smart too.if you put flake food and it floats on the surface watch as he figures a way to get to it.lol.mine used to do this weird sucking thing hahaha.and when they breed you will freak out at the egg case hahahaah.
