I want to get some ghost shrimp for my betta tank. The tank is cycled and has a ph of between 6.4 and 6.8. Temperature is 78 to 80 regularly, and nitrates never get above 10ppm. My tank has lots of plants and I read that shrimp love moss so I got some java moss. Do you think they will be ok?

Betta will often try to eat them. Sometimes they get along perfectly for a while and one day there is a massacre. It is a toss up. Watch the Betta.

These work too some "hides" are large enough for a Betta to skinny into the spaces. I have one of these things and it doesn't seem an adult Betta could fit. But they are surprisingly able to squeeze into really small spaces.

I keep ghost shrimp with my male betta and he has never tried to eat them, but every fish is different.
