I just got my moss I ordered from eBay. It's called "green blanket moss" and was from a Taiwan seller. Literally within seconds of putting it in the tank, I had a shrimp on it and within a minute there was at least 10 of them swarming it...

Does anyone else have any of this?

I vote for cladophora sp as well, possibly Spirogyra sp as well. It's probably the same stuff as moss balls but allowed to grow on a substrate.

Yes they would! People at Petco lie all the time :p

Although, it could just be ignorance... Not sure.

More than likely ignorance. I always laugh at their one week cycle advice

I like it, I let clado cover all of the wood in one of my old tanks, it doesn't overtake other plants and really adds to the natural look that so many of us aspire to achieve. I've heard Petco has started to carry it, I may have to check it out in person.
