Mystery Snail Habits

I noticed my 2 mystery snails that I got on Sunday are always huddling up near each other. I haven't seen them on top of each other but are mystery snails just sociable with each other or do you think they could male and female and possibly mating or something?

If they mate, you'll likely realize that's what they are up to.. usually it goes on for awhile, with the male clinging to the female shell as she moves around.

They may spend time close together but they are not truly social, not like fish are. If yours are together, I doubt it's a long term thing. Could be they are a pair and mating is in the offing, could be they don't care at all what's next door to them too. With snails it's hard to say sometimes. But it's still fun to watch them.
