Mystery snail kept in room temp 1 week

Tanks got ick so had to treat an put snails in diff tank but is to small for heater will they be ok in room temps of 65 more or less

Yes, they'll be fine. They don't need tropical temperatures.

I added heater to be safe plus I want to speed up ich cycle so ich dies off of them so I don't reintroduce it into tanks once I'm done medicating

Not needed. They can't carry ich. Any ich that might have gone with them will be dead in a day or two from lack of a host.

Ok so I shod be safe to add back in after med treatment ? How long should I run carbon to remove meds before adding in snails

What med did you use ? If it was copper based, you may have a problem. It's hard to get rid of copper based meds and copper is highly toxic to inverts.

Super ick cure the liquid by API it has benzaldehyde green and PVP

I would do 2 water changes before you add them back in, and at the second one toss the old med'd up filter pads. I had the same thing happen, snails and frogs, in a jar on my coffee table for 3 weeks. Everyone did just fine.

Sounds good.. I am SO glad I have managed to avoid ick to this point. I have so many inverts it would be a huge pain to deal with.

Lol yeh I have Petsmart and pet supplies plus as my main close source for fish and I have no quarantine tank so I knew my risks of gettin it was high
