Neo shrimp interbreed ???

I overheard someone at my lfs say that only certain neos interbreed - those that are strains of cherry I believe he said. If this is true can someone tell me which ones will & won't. Have a skittles tank going & would be willing to make the effort to prevent a total loss of colour due to interbreeding.

I believe all neocaridina shrimp will interbreed.
As for total loss of color, it will be a while before that happens, if at all. Some interesting color combinations and patterns may emerge from interbreeding.

I am having so many colorless shrimps in my tank. I m keeping all for now. Will see if some interesting combination I can find.
