New RCS 10 gal tank

Well after being away from aquariums for about a year due to work and moving, I decided a come back was due. This is my RCS (red cherry shrimp) tank, their not in yet, but will arrive tomorrow. 1 or 2 more plants as well, hope you enjoy and feel free to comment and make sugestions about the scaping.

Yes! I was dissapointed that my LFS had run out, but they'll get some soon. Maybe some towards the front and right and some on the log definately!

For sure, you have one very nice aquascape going on there. You mgiht want to check the classifieds here some members have really good prices.

great setup. i'm working on a 10g CRS (crystal red shrimp) planted tank project and enjoy watching other shrimp tanks which gives me encouragement

Update on DIY hood for lights, waiting to finish sanding and black paint.

Plant update: from the side you can really tell plants have grown a lot. I also have a mild growth of green hair like algae on leaves and glass.

Saw a baby shrimplet today! Couldnt get a photo thought, it quickly hid between some valisnerias. Tomorrow is a feeding day, so hopefully I'll get some shot of them! Photo update, although it is a couple of days old.

Waiting on some supplies for the plants which were supposed to arrive today, but got delayed. I'll finish the DIY CO2 system tomorrow as well.

Going for the common DIY CO2 method with a soda bottle, airline and a ceramic difuser. Got my yeast mixture done tonight and will finish the rest of the system tomorrow and post some photos.

Finally got a shot of a shrimplet! Just before lights out, he was on the back glass, so it's not the best shot, but it's the first!

Also got the DIY CO2 up and running good and constant bubbles.
