Hello. I have been trying to keep a daphnia culture but after only 1 day about 25% have died. I'm pretty sure I'm not over or under feeding, and the temperature is about right. Also using plants to oxygenate.
Anyway, I looked at a few dead ones under the microscope and they all have these little green spore things inside and outside of them. I was just wondering if this is common, if anyone else has experienced this, and how to prevent it (thinking this may be the cause of the die off).
