Snail ID

These I know are pond snails but what species specifically? Also they are creating a clear squishy slime string (its not poop) and I'm wondering it good be a string of eggs? However this doesn't make sense because the snails do not look like they have reached sexual maturity unless they are some kind of dwarf species...? Any way enough blabbering here's a picture. It's not a good one but its something. The strings were too hard to photograph. On second thought they might be slime trails in the sand...but how come they stick to the sand...It's underwater!
