I used primarily kale, crushed crab food and cuttle bone, with a little carrot and blueberry with Knox gelatin. It took 5 minutes and I have enough to feed for weeks so I will be freezing and defrosting a block every other day to feed.

You learn something new every day. This is the first time I've seen home made snail food. I've always been happy for mine to just eat leftover food the fish miss. It's not a perfect system but I do grow some healthy snails. I admire the dedication.

The snails are one of my favorites in my tank. The mystery snails and the way they like to float instead of crawl is so fluid. Like watching jelly fish.
The way they graze reminds me of cows.

I guess my concern is that left over fish food wasn't giving them all that they needed.
