Substrate color for yellow shrimp

I switched my RCS tank over from natural gravel to black sand. The shrimp are much more active and have great color.

I'm going to start another tank with yellow shrimp but I'm not sure what color sand to go with: either the black again or something lighter like this.

It's going to be a low tech tank, low light plants.

Any opinions would be very much appreciated!
 
The yellow really pops on black.. mine are in a mixture.

Thanks for posting the photo, so much better to see than trying to picture it in my mind.

I have black sand in the RCS tank, probably going to do black in the red rili setup I'm doing for the spouse's office. After seeing the mixture I think I'll go with that for my yellows.
