I put in peppermint flavored tums to raise ph and add calcium for snails but then I read the peppermint flavor is bad for snails and I already saw my nerite on the tum! Will he be ok? I took it out.

You can buy plain Calcium tablets / caplets and likely much less cost other than you might already have them on hand.
